There are 3 reunion events:

June 26, Friday Night Social Gathering
will be held at the Marriott's (on NW Expressway)
Russell's Lounge located on the first floor of the hotel.
The social hour will be from 6 PM--?
There is no charge and everyone is responsible for their own food and drinks.
(Reunion participants will receive a 40% discount to stay there.)

The Northwest Classen Class of 1970 is holding their 40th Reunion August 27th and 28th, 2010. Both nights begin at 6:00pm and end at 11:00pm, and include food and cash bars.

The site for the 27th is the Oklahoma History Center by the State Capitol. The
galleries will remain open for us exclusively from 5:00pm to 7:00pm for an
additional per person, so plan on coming early and enjoying all the History Center has to offer.
On the 28th, we will be at the Clarion Hotel Airport's Meridian Convention Center, just south of I-40 on Meridian Ave.

Ladies & Knights of the Round Table, Please mark your calendars for Saturday, June 12, 2010.  Preparations have been made and we are all looking forward to seeing our classmates from good ol’ NWC!  One of our classmates, Steve Reese, has graciously offered his home and surrounding grounds in Edmond as a gathering place for us to meet, greet, and intake copious quantities of food, drink and merriment on this auspicious occasion of our 35th summer since graduating from high school.

122nd going East.  Continue to Bryant, turn North on Bryant and

Feel free to bring your own camera as well.  We will have a photo booth set up (compliments of Doug Hoke) for Party Pics that you will be able to “ham it up” anyway you choose.

together once again.

It is off of I-40 & Sunnylane, on the north side of I on service road.
(The day picnic is a family gathering..NO ALCOHOL please,
(Thats what the after party is for)

Come rain or shine; .. Farmers almanac says good weather,... (but if u know
Oklahoma, u know the weather can change in 15 min..LOL)

Who: NW Knights (1980-1990) 80's generation.. & other alumni r also
welcome.. & friends & family & your kids & grandkids.


First thing when arriving, please sign in at sign in table, Get name tag, for u
& anyone with u... & look at the contest & games we have planned
& write name to enter on which events u want to do. ie: who came farthest,
etc..on those contest... & sign up for friend bingo (great way to reconnect
with long lost friends & have friend bingo card to write phone #'s or
e-mails on.) There will be prizes awarded. We also have games planned for the
kids that come & they will also win prizes for playing. HOST.. will also be
bringing , frisbees, volleyball net & ball, and supplies for games &
prizes

Why: to reconnect with friends from long ago & have a fun picnic.

What:-Picnic..Host will provide hot dogs,condiments, plates, plastic ware,
& napkins. we r asking those attending if they could please bring a dish (a
side dish or dessert) to share with all, or a bag of chips. (if bringing a dish
please write name on it, or bring in a disposable aluminum pan)

What to bring;... bring ice chest with own beverages, (NO GLASS
CONTAINERS
)..(we may have bottled water to sell for those coming from out of
state) Bring, blanket or lawn chairs to sit on, sunscreen, bug repellent,
umberella (just n case of rain) tarp for shade if have one, etc.. (whatever u
would take on a family picnic.) Also bring year books if u still have them if u
want as it is fun to look back at them.

Events;..

1.) We have a professional Photographer (who is a fellow alumni) who will be
taking pictures, just go by his booth with your family , friends or a group of
peeps or whomever u want a professional photo with, to have him take your pic
& he will give u business card with phone # & website to order from to
have that special memory photo.

2.) We will b honoring fallen knights & fallen teachers, & fallen
military alumni or alumni military family members, in a special way at end of
picnic.. Be sure to look for FALLEN books to list those u know r no longer with
us, as some may know of some of the fallen that others do not.

After Party (June 5th,2010, from 8:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m.) at THE POINT AFTER SALOON & GRILL.. 6800 S. I-35 service road, (#778-8166),bottom floor of..RAMADA
INN Airport South @,south I-35 service road(exit SE 66th & I-35) entrance to
bar is on the left(north) of Ramada Inn main doors. The Point after Saloon
& Grill has.. A large bar, lighted parking, a stage 4 the DJ (& his
lights), dance floor, 2 dart boards,2 pool tables & 1 shuffle board &
the grill serves food until 10:30 or 11:00 pm..DJ Randy of ,GHOSTWOLF
Productions..will be playing a mix of 80's music, & other songs &
taking requests! (if u have a fav. song on a cd, bring cd to request
your song!)
The RAMADA INN airport South is giving us a special discount for
our reunion also. Call Ramada Inn airport South at (405) 631-3321 & say u r
with "NWKNIGHTS" & it is ONLY $55.00 + tax to stay there (reg.
price 69.00+tax). Ramada Inn is going to book "NW KNIGHTS $55.00(+tax)
SPECIAL" rooms all next to each other also. Those r smoking &
non-smoking rooms next to each other.)The 1st alumni that have made reservation
have been booked by the pool area. U MUST call that locations # above & the
special dicount is for that location only. Rooms must be booked ASAP as this is
one of the busiest months for them, so call to make sure u have a room reserved
if U want.This is a great way to have fun at the after party,
since to u can get ready for after party there & not have to drive to it
or, & walk to your room when u r ready & not worry about cab fare or
need to have a D.D.
